Wagerup
The 380MW Wagerup Power Station (Wagerup) comprises two co-generation plants situated at Alcoa's Wagerup refinery in south-west WA. Under an agreement between Alcoa and Alinta Energy, Alinta Energy owns the co-generation units and takes all of the electricity production for sale to its customers, while Alcoa operates the units and takes the steam produced by the facilities for use in its refinery.
